Description: The City of Meridian (City) receives community development block grant (CDBG) funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development each year, which is allotted to various public facilities and infrastructure improvements, housing, and public services for low to moderate income (LMI) City residents. The goal of this study is to identify public infrastructure projects within LMI neighborhoods that are eligible for future CDBG funding and would provide improved accessibility and safety to the community. Potential improvements include sidewalk infill, ADA ramp installation, and street lighting infill. The purpose of this memorandum is to present the results of the data collection that has been performed for potential project areas and recommend projects for future City CDBG funding.
